Amazing $30 Map-Making Software Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

Following a brief run back in April, this cartography software collection is back with an encore that lasts until Dec. 2. Hailed as an extensive collection of mapping tools created by a specialized software company over the years, the entire collection carries a value of more than thirteen hundred dollars. And there are three different bundles offered in this deal.

The Main Attraction

The big draw is definitely permanent access to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard mapping application which enables users to create everything from fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, urban layouts, and most notably, tactical combat environments.

Bundle Tiers

Entry Level

The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-product collection for at least $15 is where things get more interesting by adding in permanent CC3+ access, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's ongoing subscription program featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons like map collections and additional utilities. The Isometric Cities enables present urban areas in 3D perspective using angled views from all sides. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.

All 17 volumes from the Annual series come with this bundle, plus numerous other resource and asset packs that can help users craft complete solar systems, or just go all-in on traditional fantasy world-building: combat arenas, underground complexes, urban centers, and continents in multiple viewpoints. Users can also create character illustrations. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection is so worth it, particularly for mappers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly more advantageous for cartography beginners since it includes introductory guides to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though you can redeem the deal on any platform, the applications only function with Windows systems.

Charitable Component

Similar to previous bundles, a portion of each sale supports charitable organizations. In this instance, that's Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response. Package customization options appear near the page top, though users may also choose their donation amount in the right-hand section. There's also an "Adjust Donation" drop-down just below that, allowing you to adjust how much of your donation goes to Humble, Profantasy, and Save the Children.
